Cant move (drag) objects with LMB on and cant pan with wheel (middle) button on.

Hi, I've asked on PC forums but they've directed me to here. I cannot drag objects with LMB on (only if I hold the grip points only) and I cannot pan with middle (wheel) mouse button on - only when holding space.

Here is the podcast: http://autode.sk/2DiKbQR

Aha, the mouse is Logitech M557 and all the settings (that I know about) are correct.

This feature is not available in AutoCAD for Mac.

Do you have some special software installed for your Logitech mouse?

What settings do you have for mouse in macOS System preferences (Mouse pane)?

I have the Logitech software installed and all settings in both CAD and this soft are as they should be as I've checked on other forums. I also uninstalled it and it was same.

Can you post screenshot of Mouse pane in macOS System preferences without mouse software installed?

I've just reinstalled the Logitech software and that OSX mouse pane looks exactly the same.

I see from the screenshot that 3-rd mouse button is not fully supported on MacOS System level - there is no settings for it.
What happens when you click with wheel button? - In AutoCAD, when AutoCAD is not running.

When I click it the cursor changes into a hand (like that pan hand), whenever I move it, the hand disappears and change back to a normal cursor - and of course I cannot pan the drawing.

Very strange behavior.
Does middle mouse button work outside AutoCAD?
What if you assign Mission Control action to it?

HI @Anonymous,

Have you tried this same action with a different mouse?  Do you have a trackpad? Can you pan by using a two finger gesture?

If you toggle the space bar preference for Pan in Options does it change this behavior?
