Firstly, please could somebody help with putting me in the right direction, as I understand that there are some issues in regards to the functionality of Autocad with Sierra. Secondly, does the Autocad include 3D?
Many thanks,
Jewel

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi Jewel,
I use AutoCAD 2017 for Mac on Sierra and don't have issues related to macOS Sierra.
Some features are not available in AutoCAD for Mac in compare to AutoCAD for Windows:

3D available in full (not LT) version of AutoCAD for Mac.

HI @Anonymous,
Here is a link to the Education Community in case you want to participate there or have questions regarding the Student license program.
AutoCAD 2017 runs great in macOS Sierra. If you are also considering an OS upgrade to High Sierra, you will need to use AutoCAD 2017.2 which can be found in this post.
You will see in that post that there are also links to AutoCAD LT for Mac. That version is a more-limited version of AutoCAD. It only allows editing of 2D geometry. If you qualify for the free student license, I encourage you to try the full version of AutoCAD which includes more features including 3D.
Here is a comparison of the two applications. Here also is a comparison between the Windows and Mac versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT.
If you would like, you are welcome to join the beta of the pre-release of AutoCAD for Mac 2018.

Hi John.
Thought I'd check to see if there's any updates for Autocad LT for Mac. I have the same 2017 MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar and I'm hoping to update to High Sierra if there's an update. Thank you!

Hi @SINGER_DESIGN,
Yes, there is a patch for AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017 that allows it to run properly in High Sierra. If you prefer the full version that includes the updates it can be found here.
