I'm also working in AutoCAD for Mac all day long, but don't have such issues as you.
Maybe the case is in the drawings which you edit? Are they very complex? Where they were created? In AutoCAD for Mac or in AutoCAD for Windows, maybe in some of AutoCAD verticals?
