AutoCad 2015 for Mac do not print if usercode authentication is enabled

Dear All,

Printing to Ricoh postscript printer with usercode authentication fails  from AutoCad 2015 for Mac. While it prints well if usercode is disabled.

But using AutoCad 2017 trial version for Mac prints well in Ricoh PS printer even usercode authentication is enable.

Basically the usercode details do not reach Ricoh printer if using AutoCad 2015 for Mac therefore it fails.

Normal documents and AutoCad 2017 for Mac prints well with same configuration therefore driver should not be an issue.

Looking forward for any work around with this case. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Priyesh,

How do you print to the plotter? Do you use Print window or Batch Publish?
If you tried Print window, then try Batch Publish.
If you tried both, then you can use Preview in Print window and then print from Preview app. Or you can create multiple PDF (or multipage PDF) with Batch Publish, then print from PDF viewer (Preview app. Adobe Reader).

Hi Maxim,

I have tried both print window and batch publish but not working.

If we preview using an app, yes it prints.

By the way today, I have seen an educ version now for mac for 2017 and 2016.

I will use the updated version now.

Thanks,

Priyesh
