Can't change Lineweight for PDF output - Lines too thick
Hi, I'm about to lose it.
I've had to learn Autocad very quickly last weekend to output a 2D floorplan of a space I've designed.
It was a frustrating but painfully rewarding experience. I don't know how you guys do it. Complex things can seem really easy yet very simple things can be the hardest of all. Hence my problem.
All i want to do now is print the final floorplan to PDF.
No matter what i do I can't budge the linewidths on the outputted pdf. They always come out too wide. Nothing I do seems to change them.
I've tried printing from Model and layout space. I've tried adjusting lineweights in Plot style. The whole thing is a mess.
I'm on AUTOCAD LT for Mac 2017
Ive included a jpg of what my problem looks like. There are some thin lines in it but they were inherited from the drawing i am overlaying.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to Autodesk Community!
Regarding the case, since you already modify/change the lineweight assigned to layer and also the PLOT STYLE , would it be possible for you to share the file so we can test it out on our side to see what is causing the issue?
Thank you.
Please hit the "Accept as Solution" button if my post resolves your issue and give "Kudo" as appropriate.

Thanks for getting back.
I've got some commercial in confidence issues associated with this file so sharing may be a problem.
I also don't know how to share files as I've never posted on a help forum before.
Can you email me?

Good morning Maxim, I am also having difficulty with lineweights plotting to to desired thickness as a PDF and cannot find a resolution in previous threads.
May I use your e-mail to package a drawing for your review?
Thank you,
Russell

I am running AutoCad2016 on OSX10 and I've set up a plot table defining lineweights, but when I try to print as pdf, only the line colors show, not the specified lineweights.
I can e-mail you the drawing or screenshot whatever will help.
