Soldraw, hidden lines in model space not displayed in paper space

 Hi,

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this question.

I'm working on a 3D assembly and starting to create my 2D representations for dimensioning and printing in the paper space.

I have gone through the motions of creating solview(s) of the assembly and then running soldraw on those solviews to generate the 2D geometry.

Soldraw does produce a 2D representation, however there are some oddities. Specifically, some items that should be hatched are not, there are some items which should be hidden yet show up on the visible layer, and there are some hidden items that do not show up at all. The first two oddities, because of their relative size and my desired end product are easy enough for me to deal with. The last item though is rather frustrating.

I know others through the lifetime of AutoCAD have had similar problems. I have tried some of the solutions that have beed posted, but none have seemed to work for me.

So, to clarify, the hidden lines do not show at all in the viewport in the paper space. I have tried different line type sizes and visual styles... and then performing a regenall, or deleting the view, making sure the new settings were applied, and creating a new view with SolView and SolDraw.

To give a better idea of what I'm doing and what I'm running into, attached are some pics. Hope someone has some ideas.

Regards,

Mack
