Hi there I'm relatively new to CAD and I'm currently learning it as part of an Interior Design course.
I needed to free up disk space on my macbook Air in order to install updates for the 2017 version that were popping up. I cleared some space and installed updates. Big mistake! I now cannot open CAD at all and I keep getting two errors;
Auto CAD Alert
Configuration file may have been locked by another process or have been set Read Only.... It asks mr to correct problem and retry by giving g the file information. No idea HOW to correct problem!
It also gives me this: AutoCAD Error Aborting. Fatal Error: Unable to process Configuration File!
What on earth did i do wrong? How can I recover all my saved files?
I tried installing CAD on my other Mac, thinking I could retrieve files from AutoDesk as I thought they would be saved there....unfortunately didn't work.
