I just got a new second monitor and there is a mouse delay only when I use AutoCAD. Doesn't happen with SketchUp or other program (MS Office).
Macbook Pro
Samsung LU28E510DS/ZA (from Costco)
AutoCAD LT 2015 for Mac
HDMI cable
The monitor is supposed to be good for gaming (4k/UHD)- my old monitor- which had much less resolution didn't have this same mouse responsiveness issue. Makes me think there is a setting within AutoCAD that is specific to this 'type' of monitor.

Hi Carel,
Samsung LU28E510DS/ZA from Costco is the same as Samsung U28D590D - Costco made up a different model number for this product.
I believe you get 30 Hz refresh rate with HDMI cable, but in order to have smooth mouse movements in AutoCAD you need 60 Hz refresh rate.
You can get 60 Hz only with DisplayPort 1.2 connection plus your Mac model should be one of the follows:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) and later
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) and later
HTH

Hi Maxim,
I am having a similar issue using:
Early 2015 MacBook Air
mini display port to hdmi converter
hdmi input on 43UMLG7300PUA tv as secondary monitor
remote desktop
Autocad 2019
Windows 10 Pro
I only get the cursor lag with Autocad, and only on the tv/monitor, not on the laptop. Any recommendations? Or should I switch to a computer monitor vs tv? Any computer monitor spec recommendations if so?
Thanks!

I cannot say for sure, but there could be a problem with Remote Desktop.
Never tried such configuration.
What application you use for Remote Desktop connection?
If it is Microsoft Remote Desktop 10, you may ask your question on their support Forum:
