I am having trouble opening AutoCAD on my MacBook Pro (17-inch, early 2011). Whenever I click the app logo, and after a couple of seconds, the app suddenly crashes. I have tried to open the app over and over again. I would gladly appreciate it if anyone can help me resolve this issue so I can continue to design.
As mentioned on the subject line above, AutoCAD 2011 for Mac is running on macOS Sierra.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi,
The last version of OS X which is compatible with AutoCAD 2011 for Mac is Mac OS X Lion (10.7.5).
On Sierra you can only use 2015 (with Update 4), 2016 (with Update 4) and 2017 versions of AutoCAD for Mac.

Hi @Anonymous,
I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
@maxim_k is correct in pointing out that version will not run on your current operating system. So, you could consider dropping back to the OS where it did work, or consider upgrading to a current version that does work.
You might want to try a trial version of 2017 to see how well it performs for you on your slightly older Mac.
Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
