TRYING TO CNC PLASMA CUT BUT JAGGED LINES
hi there I've made these cone patterns in a cone layout program what automatically converts them to dxf file, the problem I'm having is the jagged line stopping me from CNC plasma cutting them I've drawn a straight line at the side of my original pattern? can anybody help? is there a way off smoothing the line thanks.

It all depends on the "lines" itself.
Are they a chain of individual lines? Or they are splines?
Can you attach the drawing file in question?

The only way I see here is to use PEDIT command to make polylines in the drawing "smoother".
There are two options in PEDIT command - Fit and Spline.
Look at the attached drawing - I put there both results.

@Anonymous,
Were you able to utilize Maxim's suggestions of using PEDIT?
Select Accept as Solution if his post resolves your issue, or reply with additional information if the problem persists.I'd be happy to take stab at it as well.

Why do you think it is not smooth enough? Do you think so because there are a lot of vertices on the resulting polyline?
And I have another question: why you are trying to use additional step (AutoCAD) in the process? Isn't it easier to send data directly from cone layout application to CNC plasma cutter?
