Autocad LT 2017 mac error on startup
On my office computer a Mac mini 2009 I have Autocad LT 2017 Mac running without issues for a couple of weeks.
On my home laptop Macbook pro 2009 Autocad LT 2017 runs for a couple of days and than out of nothing I get the folowing error on startup:
"Exception in AcExperience.bundle ARX command"
Both systems run on Mac OS X el Captina 10.11.6
The first time I did get this error I couldn't really find a solution online,
So I did an un-install by the app, and a reinstall the problem still was there. Afther that I tried a un-install and manualy trow away all tempory files in the "aplication support" location for 2017. But i'm not planing to do this every other day on my Macbook pro.
I did some minor modifications on the toolbars: less buttons for almost every bar on de left side. and made my own bar for the measurement tools
I only get the option to click OK on the message's and than Autocad doesn't respond anymore.
Is there anybody with the same problem and/or a solution?
EDIT:
I found a solution to get Autocad LT 2017 Mac working without a reinstall:
You need to delete the following folders In the appliction support -> Autodesk folder:
"2017" in "ACDLTM"
"2017" in "ADUT"
"AutoCAD LT 2017" in "Web Services"
Don't know if deleting one of these would do the trick as well but it works without a reinstall now. (still curious what makes autocad give this error.)

Hi LormansDesign,
Welcome to the AutoCAD for Mac forum.
I have seen your post today. I understand that you got the following error message when AutoCAD starts.
<<AutoCAD for Mac error : "Exception in AcExperience.bundle ARX command">>
You also fixed the problem later by deleting the following folders In Library/Application Support/Autodesk folder:
"2017" in "ACDLTM"
"2017" in "ADUT"
"AutoCAD LT 2017" in "Web Services"
However, when you uninstall the software on the Mac you should do the following:
- Uninstall the AutoCAD LT for Mac following the recommended steps in this article Clean uninstall of AutoCAD for Mac
- Then reinstall AutoCAD LT for Mac. You can re-download it from your Autodesk account.
Exception errors in ARX command can be due to damaged file within AutoCAD or due to some ObjectARX applications that do not load properly. Therefore, re-installing AutoCAD as described above may also fix it. Please have a look at this help document ARX (Command).
Hope it helps.

HI @Anonymous,
Can you tell me which OS you have on your Mac and the exact version of AutoCAD you are running (type ABOUT at the command line)

Hi Paul,
Have you installed all the updates below for this version?
- AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017.1 Update
- AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017.1.1 Hotfix
- AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017.0.1 Hotfix
Could you also let us know if you still have the issue described by LormansDesign?

Looks like AcExperience.bundle is a part of the Customer Involvement Program (CIP), which periodically sends data about AutoCAD experience to Autodesk. Maybe sometimes it stops working properly for some reason, then you get an alert you mentioned in your initial post.
