Gradient hatch doesn't plot to pdf

Is there an Autocad-Pro present?
I'm having trouble hatching!
So when i do the solid hatch i get the nasty lines in pdf, and when i do the gradient hatch, it doesn't show up at all in the pdf.
Probably because the file size is to big and already tried setting the dpi to 150 (doesn't go lower) but still the gradient hatch doesn't show up in pdf.
In the past i would always use the gradient hatch and it worked but now it's not showing up in the pdf...

So does anybody else know how to fix this? (It's autocad 2016 on macbook and i use PDFprinter)

Maybe another pdf-printer or a patch or whatever?

I'm really hopeless and it's kinda urgent!!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Laura,

Have you updated macOS to Sierra on your Mac? If yes, than you need to apply the last Update 4 to AutoCAD 2016. Have you updated AutoCAD?

I Installed Update 4 and it worked!

The gradient hatch now shows up in pdf!

I guess I learned a lesson about postponing/ignoring updates now!

Thank you so much!

Hope someone can help me -  I have the same problem but with a PC.  I have AutoCad LT 2016 and using CutePDF.  Can't print to PDF !   I am using the Gradient Hatch work around to fix the 'lines in solid hatch problem'. . .

Many thanks in advance !  John

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous

Have you tried to save PDF without Cute PDF, using AutoCAD PDF drivers?
It is better to ask your question here:
