auto cad lt for mac 2016: application does not respond.

Uninstaller has detected that you have an active AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT instance running on this computer. Please close all active instances of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT before Uninstallation can continue

So, the application will not respond and it is not possible to remove the application so auto cad can be reinstalled.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Have you tried:
to right-click on AutoCAD icon in the Dock and select "Force Quit"?
Or restart your Mac before running Uninstaller?
Or use Activity monitor application to kill AutoCAD task?

Maxim

Yes, i have tried shutting down, force quitting
I always have to force quit auto cad just to shut down my computer since auto cad does not respond.
I just received two updates and hopefully after downloading them the application will work better.

Hi @Anonymous,

Following up on your thread, were you able to apply the updates? Did that help with AutoCAD not responding?

If you have any additional questions or need additional help post back.

Thanks.
