Dimension Style

Hello,

I am unable to alter the Dimension Style.

I have tried the Command Line and the drop down but I type the words in / or click but nothing happens ... it used to !

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

It is not clear from your post: do you want to change something in particular dimension object, or you want to change settings for the dimension style globally?

What do you mean by "I type the words in / or click but nothing happens"? Where you type words or where you click?

Maxim

Hi Maxim,

I just want to change the size and font of a dimension.

Neither the Command box or the Drop down menu react when I either type the command or click on the menu (which it used to ), so  how do I change the Dimension style now ?

To change the size of font of one dimension you can use Properties palette - select dimension, than look for the Text section in the Properties palette -> than change text height.

To change text height for all dimensions of the particular dimension style - use menu Format -> Dimension style, than select dimension style you want to change an select Modify from "Gear" menu.

Just remember - if you want to be able to change text height in dimension, you need to assign text style with text height=0 (zero) to this dimension style.
