Im using AutoCAD for Mac. Is there any way to move the toolbar up to the top like they have it in the book, or am i stuck with it on the left/right side?

Hi,

No, there is no way.
AutoCAD for Mac has it's own user interface and Toolsets palette has only vertical orientation.
