Oblique Grid Settings

I'm taking a class with Autocad 2016 and I have a project where I have to draw using an oblique cabinet perspective. Specifically, a horizontal x axis with 45 degree grid lines to the y axis. I've searched for this and all I have to go off of is dim settings and vpoint. Any suggestions would be great!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Do you mean Isometric Grid?

If yes, you can switch to it on the Snap and Grid tab of "Drafting Settings" window (menu Format -> Drafting Settings):

Hi @Anonymous,

Maybe try looking to this article: To Display a Grid and Set the Grid Spacing

If you can provide more info on whats being asked that could help as well. If I didn't capture your questions feel free to let me know.

Thanks.

This is close to what I want but I had to mess with the vpoint (used 60 for xy x, 45 for xy) while having isodraft top enabled. It's not exactly what because the angels are awkward (using 240 degrees instead of 90) and the diagonal grid lines are 60 degrees instead of 45. (Yes I messed with vpoint in several combinations, or maybe I missed one). The image is exactly what I need. Any ideas?
