Re: AutoCAD LT 2016 MAC: Object Snap turns OFF and deselects ALL Snap Modes

This has been happening for months now. Can't recall when it started, but it's frustrating..

If possible could you provide a bit more information on this specific problem.

Does this happen with all files or only a few? Even a brand new file?

You can also use screencast, it is a free application where you can capture everything on your AutoCAD interface. This will help give me a better idea of your issue and it may help the other user's in this community.

Thanks.

When ? Suddenly and unexpectedly. But I can't recall every time and with which tool. Most recently was using SUPERHATCH. Object Snaps would turn off and deselect all snap modes right before inserting image. And before this with other tools.

It also happens on a WIN 8 PC with same version.

This is just one of many ACAD LT FOR MAC glitches I have to deal with and never seem to be fixed with updates and its extremely frustrating.

Hi,

Running OSNAPs are turned off during SUPERHATCH command by design. All Snap modes are disabled during SUPERHATCH command also by design.
As soon as SUPERHATCH finishes, all OSNAPs and Snap modes should be restored to the state before SUPERHATCH, but sometimes the command could be interrupted (by user or by some other reason), than it is possible that OSNAPs wouldn't be restored (although they should be restored, even in such case).
