Text size and weight changes when printing or exporting

using ACAD LT Mac to design a corporate logo text is in Gil Sans Bold, when I export or print the text comes out smaller and non bold why?

looking to export to a form that my sign company and other shirt printer can use as well as some form that can be inserted in to a word or excel doc for documents.

 

I was trying to export to .pdf

 

I also tried to print and print preview and had the same results

Hi Eric,

You need to try to install Update 2:

And than Update 3:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-lt-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-l...

They should resolve text handling issues.

What if you will try to set system variable USEQUARTZFONT=0 when you print (save to PDF) the drawing with logo? This should force AutoCAD to outline TTF fonts when saving to PDF. Maybe the results would be better.
