Drawing Spins While Editing Text

Hi,

This is a new one for a vet A'cad user. When editing vertically oriented text, the drawing spins 90 degrees, (or 270 degrees?) so the text box is horizontal. When the editing is done, the drawing spins back to is usual horizontal position. This is an entirely new behavior that I have not seen before and it is a bit disorienting. It is just the vertical text that rotates.

What is the setting that keeps this from happening? I don't care why it stated, just need it to stop.

FWIW, I do all my text horizontal and rotate the text when needs to be vertical.

I'm running AutoCad / Mac 16 with second update loaded a month or so ago. This just started to occur in the last couple of days.

Thanks,

Hi,

Try to set system variable MTEXTFIXED=2 (this is the default OOTB value).
