Ahhh!

 

The NAS is likely your issue. I have not seen any workarounds for the Synology NAS .  Many customers have issues with them.  The only solution I have seen is to move the files off of the NAS.

 

You could still try a different format and the SMB but i have not seen any success with this configuration yet.
