Multiple fails in AutoCad. Missing tool boards etc

Hi all,

I have multiple problems with my AutoCad:

1) It quits after I try to right click anywhere on the screen; after trying "RESETPALLETES" command

2) does not plot, I am using cmd + p - nothing happens

3) There is no toolbar and no top bar with options (I will attach screenshots)

4) (ref. second screenshot) When I click on any of those options "Item2" or "item3" nothing happens again.

Apart from that all commands work as usual. I had this problem and thought that installing updates will help. Nothing changed once again.

I am also attaching my general settings.

Many thanks in advance!

Nadia

Hi Nadia, Please try a Reset (From the AutoCAD pulldown menu)

Please also let me know your OS and if you have applied service packs 1-4 found here.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi Nadia,

You have a problem with missing menus and Tool Sets palette, which has repeatedly been discussed at the Forum.

At first you need to try this:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticle...

You only need to replace the paths specified in the article in accordance with your AutoCAD version.

I'd recommend you to start with AutoCAD reinstallation - at first clean uninstall  AutoCAD, than install it again. If you have latest OS X version - El Capitan - you need to install all service packs before using AutoCAD.

You can also look here:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-general/no-menus-in-top-bar-and-no-drawing-panel/td-p/...

Again you need to substitute 2015 version with 2014.

Maxim
