transfer my autoCAD Lt to another computer

How do I transfer my autoCAD Lt subcription from my MacBook Pro to a new iMac computer? Do I simply delete software off my old MacBook Pro lap top computer and then reinstall software on new iMac computer  by downloading from my atodesk account?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Please look at this AKN article :

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/installation-activation-licensing/manage-licensing/t...

Looks like you don't need to use license transfer utility, you can simply install AutoCAD on the new Mac and start using it.

Hi @Anonymous,

As @maxim_k indicated, you should be able to just install on your new computer. If  you have any problems getting it to run please visit your Account page for licensing help and you can certainly return here for technical issues.

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

This link is no longer available.  Can you please let me know how to move Autocad LT to my computer/Macbook?

Thank you

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

To which link are you referring? The one to the licensing forum?

You should be able to download your software and just install on your Mac without issue. I recommend downloading and installing from the Autodesk Virtual Agent.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

I have two licences for autcad lt  for Mac 2013. Unfortunately due to a break in our computers were stolen. Our new computers have a Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.4 operating system. On trying to reinstall the auto cad lt the installation failed due to the operating system being incompatible with the later operating system.

Is there some kind of upgrade which I can download to fix this problem-or if its intractable is there any way I can trade the licences for an upgrade to a compatible system?

best wishes,

Steve

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Stephen,

You need to purchase subscription:
https://www.autodesk.eu/products/autocad/subscribe?plc=ACDIST&term=1-YEAR&support=ADVANCED&quantity=...
in order to upgrade to the latest AutoCAD for Mac release.
And I think it is impossible to trade the licenses.
