I am curious to see if this bug has been fixed. As I mentioned, in AutoCAD 2016 for Mac I created a new solid hatch with 80% transparency and it showed up correctly.

Have you tried this yet? If so, can you attach your drawing for me?  I would like to think this is finally solved
