To whoemever can help:
I'm using AutoCAD 2016, and while trying to find the right hatch for my stacked stone elevation I accidentlally added a duplicate into my library.
All I want to do is remove this duplicate from my hatch library, which apparently isn't an option. You would think I could just right click the hatch in my library and delete it, however that is not the case. When I click it at all, this message pops up (image attached).
Now f I delete the hatch file all together in my finder, then every time I go to use the hatch function it tells me this particular hatch cannot be found.
It seems very odd that I can only add hatches to my library but not delete them, so please let me know if there is a resolution I am overlooking...
Thank you.

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!
Hi,
When you add hatch pattern by selecting "Add patterns" from drop-down list in Hatch library window, AutoCAD adds an alias (symbolic link) to the hatch pattern you select. This alias is inside "/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2016/R20.1/roaming/@en@/Support/" folder on your Mac, and you need to remove (delete, trash) this alias in order to remove hatch pattern from the Hatch Library window.
