Student Version of AutoCAD 2014 not opening on new MacBook Pro

I've been using a free student version of AutoCAD 2014 on my MacBook Pro for just over a year now. I recently upgraded my computer to a newer model MacBook Pro with retina display and had all of my programs and files transferred over to my new computer.

I just went to open my AutoCAD and I am unable to open the program. I was sent an email that included my serial number, product number, computer name and activation code shortly after trying to open the program. I am confused because when I try to open the program there is no prompt for my to enter in any activation code. The program just tries to load for 5 minutes and then becomes unresponsive.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried to find a number to contact Autodesk support but there is no number or email listed on the website. Very frustrating!!

Hi Natalie,

If you migrated to the new Mac from Time Machine backup, than look at these solutions:
