Can't seem to move ONLY ONE object

Hello, I'm new to autocad. I'm trying to follow some tutorials, but I can't seem to move things properly. If I want to move something and the object I'm selecting is touching anything else (even if that "anything" is not selected) everything gets moved. I made a video to quickly show you what I'm talking about. I also attached the file.

I only want to move that green rectangle, but everything it touches moves as well.

I tried looking for posts that talk about this, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Can you attach the drawing itself instead of the video showing the issue?

Good idea. I just attached the file to my original post.

This is because you have Infer Constraints enabled on the Status Bar.

You need to turn this feature off:

Plus please verify that you have no unnecessary parametric constraints in the drawing (I see you have a lot of them).

If you don't need them use "Delete constraints" from Parametric menu to delete them (use All option when AutoCAD will ask to select objects to delete constraints).

I put the infer constraints off and it still moves more than one object :cara_asombrada: , I just switched to AutoCAD 2018, have been using 2011 for a while.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi Britney,

You also need to remove all existing constraints with DELCONSTRAINT command.
