free auto cad teaching options

I am a retired architect with over 40 years experience in health care.  I have helped plan and design over $1 billion in health care projects in 40 of the 50 states and 9 foreign countries.  I never really learned autocad because when autocad became the standard most of my work was in the planning, space programing and preliminary design.  I could do my designs by hand faster than I could do them on autocad.

Since retirement I have been developing health care programs for the University of Tennessee and when Obamacare was approved, I have spent the last 8 years developing a health care program to replace it.  I have presented my plans to the Heritage Foundation and several Representatives and Senators.  I was also on Herman Cain's campaign as one of four health care experts.  I need autocad to give examples of some of the structures that would be required to better offer health care within the system I have developed.

I am in the process of establishing a new educational program that will help young people express their creativity.  Not just in architecture but in other areas but the main focus will be architecture.  I would like to have access to your free autocad software so I can learn more about the system myself and be able to have that available to students.  I am also a veteran.  The name of the school I'm trying to develop is "The Da Vinci Concept Center".

Does this free software have all features to include 3D-Modeling?  Is the software Mac compatable?
