Hi Just installed mac 2016 Autocad and activated but when trying to start autocad get the following error
The directory may be locked by another process or have been set Read Only.
Directory: '/Users/administrator'
Directory is not locked and ran following commands in Terminal:
chmod -R +w $HOME
Still no luck

You can try to create new account on your Mac with Admin privileges, login to it and launch AutoCAD. Does it start now?

Thanx for the tip.
I installed under my Administrator Account on my Mac.
Also tried upgrading to El Capitan (hence the delay in getting back) as thought AutoCAD MAC 2016 may require this upgrade.
Still no joy

OK great, that worked. My error was that I was looking at the shared folder and locked tabs for the folder and not the permissions at the bottom of the screen. Autocad booted up once I enabled R&W access for all users, not just the adminstrator.
