AutoCAD OS X - print/ plot, save as pdf, can't find correct forum to post to...?
Hello, I am struggling so bad with AutoCAD it's unbelievable. I can't even seem to find the right forum to post to? If someone could please move this to the correct forum I'd be grateful. I am having HUGE issues with ACAD for Mac running on OS X El Capitan. I am new to AutoCAD, only having used it whilst a student -- on Windows -- back in 2004. However, I am now on a MacBook Pro. I have created a drawing which I am looking to provide to a manufacturer for a new product to be created. I have it saved currently as a .dwg but when I try to create a .pdf it gives me errors: Job: - Error(s) Did Not Plot Job ID: 3 Sheet set name: Date and time started: 19/11/2015 23:47:51 Greenwich Mean Time Date and time completed: 19/11/2015 23:47:52 Greenwich Mean Time UserID: Mark Profile ID: Total sheets: 1 Sheets plotted: 0 Number of errors: 3 Number of warnings: 0 Sheet: asdfghj-Model - Error(s) Did Not Plot File: /Users/Mark/Desktop/asdfghj.dwg Category name: Page setup: Device name: Plot file path: Paper size: ERROR: The PMP folder was not found and is required for custom paper size creation. ERROR: Internal error attempting to create custom paper size. ERROR: Unable to create the requested media size as a custom size. I have spent hours searching the internet to no avail. I am inexperienced with AutoCAD and not entirely sure about plotting and printing but have tried to follow what others have mentioned through Google searches. I still can't seem to get it to save in .pdf however. Any and all help would be very much appreciated. TIA, Mark
