Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Please specify your OS and AutoCAD version.
Do you mean you cannot create new drawings?
What do you see when you are trying to use NEW command (menu File -> New Drawing)

Have you tried to reset AutoCAD?

We need more information.

What exact command are you running when you say "Create more new projects"?

A new Drawing?
A new Sheet Set?
Something else?

AutoCAD 2014 is not compatible with El Capitan at the moment.
SP 3 was released a year ago for resolving compatibility issues for AutoCAD 2014 on the Mac OS X Yosemite.
You need to wait until new Update will be released to make it compatible with El Capitan.
But, please, don't ask me when it will be released - I'm not from Autodesk staff and not aware of this, sorry.
