Security of downloading drawings from Internet

Hello,

There are websites with AutoCad drawings to download. Some of them were even recomended by Maxim here on this forum. My issue is the sucurity.
I am afraid of malwares and viruses. I any safe and not complicated ways for secure download ?

Hi Kris.

You cannot get virus or malware with DWG file. Further more as you are on Mac, you cannot infect your machine by browsing sites with free DWG blocks, so I am sure it is absolutely safe to download blocks from the sites I mentioned in my earlier posts.

I agree with Maxim, I would think your more at risk of getting unwanted emails than a virus.

If you are worried about it you could always get virus barrier from Intego
