Major Auto Cad incident

Hello everyone. I'm a current AutoCad 2013 user. Just two days ago, I lost my coordinate text box, where you type in a measurement as your making a line. When I looked through all of my settings to turn it back on, I couldn't find it. With no other choice, I reset the settings which made the situation even worse. After I reset my Auto Cad, I was able to retrieve my coordinate text box but I lost the ability to use my right click after highlighting, the file, edit, modify, etc.. options up on top all disappeared, and all the tools on my palette disappeared as well. I have tried everything to get those back but I can't figure it out. Is there any way that anyone can assist me? Thank you and I really appreciate it.

Hi,

Which OS X installed on your Mac?

I it is El Capitan (10.11), than AutoCAD 2013 for Mac is not supported on it.

If you have OS X Yosemite or Mavericks, than be sure to reinstall AutoCAD with this installer:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-2013-...

During removing AutoCAD don't forget to un-check "Leave my preferences".

If this doesn't help, you may try to look here:

and here:

Right now, I'm currently on mountian lion. Maybe I should just reinstall it anyways. Thanks you. I will let you know if it worked.

I looked into each link. I tried each option but it still didn't worked. I finally tried the last step to uninstall and reinstall. I had to get Autocad 2014 and it still hasn't worked

No, after I uninstalled 2013, I got Autocad 2014. I went on 2014, there wasn't even tool paletes or a menu at the top.

What if you create new Admin account on your Mac, login to it and launch AutoCAD.
Do you see Menus and Tool Sets palette?

If copying CUI files manually from AutoCAD application folder to the AutoCADs Support folder inside your Home Library folder don't help, than I'm afraid, I cannot help you. Sorry.

Thank you very much for the link to all of the solutions. I used solution #2 and it ended up working!
