Resetting doesn't remove Service Packs, only reinstallation does.
If you reset AutoCAD on Mac it only resets application preferences (options) to default values.
If you remove AutoCAD and install it again from the original media, than you need to apply Service Packs (Updates) again. Removing doesn't reset AutoCAD if you leave "Leave my preferences" option checked during removing.
