Incompatibility with OS X 10.10.5

I've installed the new 10.10.5 version for Mac and now I can't start Autocad anymore. This represents a huge problem for me beacuase I need to keep working on my Pc. Please, are you able to tell me when this incompatibility will be solved?

Thanks

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Which version of AutoCAD for Mac do you have?
Versions 2013, 2014 and 2015 are compatible with all versions of OS X 10.10, including 10.10.5

Hi Maxim,
thank you for answering me.
I have the 2015 version for Mac, but the software doesn’t start anyway.
I have already contacted the technical support here in Italy and they told me that they are sorry but they don’t know when OS X 10.10.5 will be supported.
I can’t believe this is true, so, I’m asking you, is there any upgrade I can install which may solve the problem?

I really thank you again and I apologize if my english is not perfect, I hope everything is clear enough.
Best regards

Giulia

Hi Giulio,

Here is the link to latest update for AutoCAD for Mac 2015 :

You may also try to reset AutoCAD as described here :

Hello again,
I’ve already installed this update a few days ago. I’ve tried to follow the instructions from the link that you sent me, but it doesn’t work. Autocad doesn’t start.
Perhaps, may it be useful to reinstall Autocad? I don’t even know if it is possible with my student-license to reinstall the software.

Thanks.

Autocad for Mac 2015 is fully compatible with OS X 10.10.5, so maybe the license information was corrupted during the Update to 10.10.5.
You can try this solution :
http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...
It should work with any type of licenses, including the student license.
