3d object drawing views on Autocad 2015

There is no tutorial showing how to create the drawings or where the tools are on the mac version! I need to create 2D views of a 3D object and i can't seem to find how...

Hi,
Do you mean VIEWBASE command? If so - than it is not available in AutoCAD for Mac.

Do you need real flat 2D objects from 3D objects? - Than use FLATSHOT command.
You can also use SECTIONPLANE command to create Section object, than create 2D section using this Section object.

You can also use old SOLVIEW and SOLDRAW commands to create 2D objects from 3D geometry inside viewports in layout.

hi, thanks for the quick answer! I've been trying to use the commands you suggested but i dont seem to get the result... (maybe its because im not so familiarized with the program).

Is there a video tutorial that you know of that could help me?

Im attaching a picture of what i need to get...

Hi,

There are a lot of video tutorials about creating 2D views from 3D model in AutoCAD with SOLVIEW and SOLDRAW commands:

Although they are about AutoCAD for Windows, but in AutoCAD for Mac these commands works the same way.
