Just to conclude on this string after much removing and reinstalling etc etc non of the suggestion worked straight away/immeadilatly after rebootiing. I left the computer for a couple fo day and tunred loaded up Cad to get a copy of the error message to send to Autodesk and it worked so i'm of the oppinion the whole issue of failed connection etc was more than likely due to subscription server issues and perhaps not related to the software or mac configuration. I will be able to check this theory in a months time as i will need to scrub main drive and start again with fresh copy of OS as Autocad has to be force quit after every session so somdething is missing or not right never had the issue wth the trial version. But for the time being i have Cad working and need it in this state to complete a job once done i'll tidy the OS up.
