Page Setup and Plot Style Settings

Hello,

I have AutoCADlt 2014 on MAC OSX Yosemite.

Problems thus far: plotting a PDF 24x36 - figured out an option and dled a PDFwrite which is what the page is not set up to, made a custome sheet size, and located it relative to my 0,0,0 in paper space. Not sure if this is best scenario, any suggestions?

Next plotting with the CTB files from Windows. While opening an existing file from the firm and using the existing plot styles, and printing on 11 x 8.5 paper, is bad, ugly, not readable. Now, I print the same file, same CTB from the windows computer, looks as it should. What is going wrong with the communication of the cad MAC plot styles?

Please provide suggestions and tips for the conversion from Windows CAD to MAC CAD.

Thank you,

Suzi

Hi Suzi,

About your first question - yes such scenario could work, you can also look at this:

About the issue with CTB file from Windows: which output size is on Windows side? Is it the same as you tested on Mac (11 x 8.5 paper)? Or it is bigger?

Could you attach here example DWG file with accomplishing CTB file? (it is better to compress them in one archive before attaching).
