This is because you are confusing two values.

7.6 is really the depth of the hole, i.e the distance from the top of the "cylinder" to the bottom.

Whereas 42.... is the coordinate of the hole bottom.

Two different concepts, so two different values.

So, you may need to use the GetFeatureLocation to grab the Z value, then substract the depth value to it.
