Hello,
My post doesn't ouput G98/99 even if <CYCLE-RTRCT> is in my post. It leaves a blank space on my G-code line.
When I post with a generic Fanuc post, I do have the G98/99 in my G-code.
It seems like something else is blocking it.
Does someone have a idea?
Thanks!
Max

Hi, Max.
Here are a couple things you can look at:
First, make sure the G98/G99 codes are entered into the post. In Xbuild, go to CNC Info > NC Codes and make sure they are there.
Next, make sure you are using "Combine similar holes into canned cycle" in the Strategy tab of the feature. If that's a setting you want all the time, make sure it is enabled on the Drilling tab of your Machining Attributes/Configurations.
That should do it. I hope that helps.

Hi Chris,
My G codes in Xbuild are defined and my strategy is the same as on your screen shot.
As you can see on my screen shot, I'm posting a blank space where I want my G99. My other posts are fine but this one doesn't cooperate!
Thanks!

Hey, Max.
If you don't mind, attach your post, and I will test it on my end.
Thanks,
Chris

I rewrote my post, testing each modification instead of batching them.
I found that it's glitching when I move the command before
the command.
I usually program: G99 G81 ... It seems that I have to output: G81 G99 ...
I didn't test yet. I hope the machine's gonna be happy with it!
thanks!

Hello,
I have the same problem.
CYCLE-RTRCT don't work with turning features but only with mill features, so if the turning hole is the first operation the value of CYCLE-RTRCT is a space.
I forced the value of CYCLE-RTRCT at the beginning with: "[:<CYCLE-RTRCT> = "G98"]".
