FeatureCAM2020 Vise Import

Hi all,

im having an issue when trying to create a 'custom' vise through the vise import add-in. I have been able to create one vise and have it import/position correctly (V562-RL96A411), but when attempting to create another vise in the same manner, i cannot even get it to show up in the list. the vise in question is the V75100XRL96A411. i've gone over it a few times and it looks like the naming convention is correct and in the correct place within the directory. the INI file has also been edited as shown in the attached screenshots. any help in this would be appreciated!

@caleberttt

I find that the naming is usually the culprit when things fail.

Be sure the folder and images have the same name as the vice call out in the .ini file.  I'd copy and paste that name so they are all the same.

If that is the case, perhaps you can share everything so I can take a look.

Agreed with @ChristopherMarion's suggestion here.

I also assume that you are following this video, but in the case that you haven't seen this, it does a great job of walking through. If it's showing up, but importing wrong, I would assume that it's an issue with the actual setup. As Chris said though, if it's just flat now showing up, it's likely that the naming or location of the files is incorrect.

So I am having a similar issue to the OP. I modified one of the Kurt vices so that the jaws were on the outside of the vice for holding larger material. I do not have any .png files with the FC file but it imports just fine. However due to the jaws being located outside the vice it is not positioning the vice correctly. Is there a way to change that?
