How to Laser Engrave a Logo

Hi all,

I own Stepcraft D840 CNC machine with their DL445 laser head. I plan to use it to engrave my brand logo onto some sort of a badge made of solid beechwood.

I would like to create this job with Fusion 360 but I don't now how to do it. So I am using if someone already used Fusion 360 to engrave a logo with a laser.

Thanks

Hey @martin.reboux! Just as a heads-up, this is the FeatureCAM Forum. You might get better help at the Fusion 360 forums.

That being said, here's a super-basic jumping off point for learning about these types of toolpaths in Fusion. Additionally, here is a link to our post library. Check here to see if a post already exists for your machine, as you will ultimately need one to generate your NC code specific to your machine. It looks like there are a couple Stepcraft ones that may work for you.

LMK if you have any other questions!

Thanks for pointing the misunderstanding of the section.

I'll post on the proper Fusion360 forums.
