I'm glad to hear you're still plugging away! I agree with pretty much everything you've put here. 

 

Without a doubt, Fusion has FAR better abilities in the non-CAM stuff (design, drawings, simulation, etc). To your point about roughing, I totally agree with that as well. I really love being able to just drop a 3D Adaptive toolpath on the whole model and be done with it in a couple of clicks.

 

When you really start to get into the details with surface milling, multi-axis, turning, and turn-mill especially, you start running up against some capability barriers, but that's to be expected as they continually enhance the product. 

 

I still personally prefer the automation and speed of programming (featurerec) in FC, but can't deny that Fusion is pretty awesome! Thanks for the response!
