Reading number of flutes from tool manager

Greetings!

Is there any way to read out tool information from tool manager e.g.: number of flutes in post level? I want to post my tools number of flutes into the nc code, but can't find any word or variable, which contains it. Maybe an addin exist?

Hello
Do you mean the delivery?
see the screenshot.
But only when roughing issued.
When finishing stands there 0.
I hope I could answer your question.

Hallo
Meinst du vielleicht die Zustellung?
siehe Screenshot.
Wird aber nur beim Schruppen ausgegeben.
Beim Schlichten steht da 0.
Ich hoffe ich konnte deine Frage beantworten.

Hi h.goebel !

I found these words (tool comment, diameter, length) in the word list, but I need the tool number of flutes (2 flute, 4 flute etc...) or e.g. corner radius. These data can't be reached directly from  the postprocessor words(variables). I need a solution to access these data.

Best regards, Attila.

You can name your tool with the number of flutes and then use <tool-name>.

.5 end mill 5 Flute
