setup shhet question
I made my own setup sheet that I am doing a little more adjusting to. I am trying to get the diameter offset value to come in and can not get it. I got the the tool number using {tool.number}. This pulls in the tool number but I do not know how to pull in the diameter offset. I have machines that need to add 30 to the tool number. Any help would be appreciated .

Hi @Anonymous,
Thanks for posting on Autodesk Forum.
It seems FeatureCAM has no tag in the tool list or in tool_loop to print diameter offset of a particular tool. However there is a tag for the same in operation_loop {operation.diameter_offset_register} that defines diameter offset register of the tool for this operation.
Hope this helps.
Thank You.

Abhishek

I tried that and it did not work. I also forgot that I would like it to give me the location in the server. Is there a call to get thepath in the server from featurecam?

Hi @Anonymous,
The tag {operation.diameter_offset_register} which I was talking about works perfect in operation_loop. Please refer to the video: https://autode.sk/2MVzdSW
At the moment default path to browse for setup sheet template seems to me cannot be defined in FeatureCAM. There is also a feature request regarding Ability to set template location raised to the development team.
However, you can browse the setup sheet template if it is saved on server from setup sheet options window. Isn't it working?
Thank You.

Abhishek
