This video will tell you how to setup you post and indexing to do what you need. 

You will also need to set your travel limits in your .MD file for the X and Y head travel. 

 

The only problem is, it will start and run the tool somewhere on the Y 0.00 and  X+ side of the rotary table.  This is not compatible with the HAAS UMC 750, where the tool most run in the X - side of the rotary in order to take advantage of this feature. 

The UMC 750 has 30 inches of X travel, about 20.5 " is on the left ( or X minus) of the C rotary and only 9.5" on the right side ( X plus).   That being said, you should be able to machine a part nearly 28 " long on the table, and a parts over 36" long that are elevated 4-1/2" off (clearing the B rotary end support) the table .  

 

I've tried everything I can think of to keep the tool from running into the X+ travel limits.   Hope FC can fix this soon, or someone tells me what I'm missing in the settings.
