Hello Shawn,

A good practice when using Tombstone document is to set the .fm part to "No multi-axis positioning" since the Tombstone document will produce the rotational movement between each setup. This will fix your issue.


The reason why the part are not shifted when index axis is set to " STOCK" it is because it is oriented the same way of your setup one. Index axis UCS represent your initial orientation on the machine when using 4th axis. In your case because you setup your part in a Tombstone document you do not need to specified here any 4th-axis UCS.


As an example if you set Index axis UCS to "UCS_Setup2" you will noticed that the Z direction is opposite to the Setup1 which will result of a 180° rotation in the Tombstone document.
