Some time over this past weekend Partmaker started exporting the NC codes to a .job file that defaulted to being opened with some program called Design Architect. It used to be that we could view the NC code files using Notepad or Wordpad and it would like like normal G and M coding, not a bunch of symbolized nonsense. If anyone knows the fix to the export process or a program that can view it as it used to be, I'd be very appreciative. FileViewerPro, Wordpad, Notepad all can't view the Partmaker .job files any more.

totheprint, the file with the .job extension is the one opened with PartMaker that contains all of your CAM programing. The extension that your NC file has is determined by your post processor in either the "File Start, Mill" or "File Start, Turn" NC File Header/Footer format depending on whether it's a mill or lathe post. Perhaps you are saving the NC file to a different location than normal? When you press the "Generate NC Program" button you will be prompted to specify a location and a name for your NC file, please ensure that the file you're trying to open is the one generated at this location. Hope this helps!
