Thanks but the wind fan option would be pointless as it begins and finishes just as far away from the part as the original option did. Does anyone else wonder why with autodesk making all the  changes they have; many of them seemingly pointless,that we are still forced to work with software which does not allow full control over machining moves as basic as a leads? Oh, if it's an open curve such as a side feature you can adjust the lead in and out but if it's a closed curve the engineers feel we dont need that same control. This is why as you said the changes you tried on the lead in and out did not have the expected effect. They actually did nothing at all as the note above those options states this only works on open end features. Bosses are not open end therefor the engineers stick in some stupid little swoop move to help out the customers. What a help that is....  But since thats all this software  allows I will just have to migrate this geometry over to Solidworks and use Solidcam to machine the parts. In Solidcam I have control over leads in situations like this. This takes me extra time to do and I really should not have had to do so. Leads are a basic machining function . A basic function which no software costing what Featurecam does should not have included from day one.
