So since the last update whenever I run a 2D simulation the part zooms all the way out as if I had pressed "resize to fit" before running the simulation. This is a big problem when the feature I am running is just one small section of a large part.
Running 3D simulation still works fine, and keeps the zoom level I have it set at.
Previously, it would just bring the part back to horizontal if I had it rotated at all, but would keep whatever zoom level I had it set at. Now it just zooms all the way out, which makes it difficult to impossible to see what I am trying to see.

Mine zooms to "center all" and "top" and starts simulation. As far as I can remember, it has always done that.

Try this.
Click File (upper left hand corner)--> Import/Export Option--> View tab--> General.
Uncheck "Auto center-all".

So that worked for me in FC 2018, but I have since gone back to FC 2017, and am having the same problem. Going "File (upper left hand corner)--> Import/Export Option-->" There is no view or general tab, and no "Auto center-all" option to uncheck. There is a "center stock automaticaly" option, but that one is already unchecked.
Any ideas?
