Inversing a part

Is there a simple way to inverse a part or do I have to redraw the whole thing. It is a really complex part so it is not ideal to redraw the whole thing. Featurecam 2015

I'm guessing what you want is called reflect in FC. It's in the the Edit_Transform menu. You need to have something selected first or you don't get the Transform menu.

There's also and add-in called reflect all that does all the setups and toolpath but it's been hit and miss for me, I prefer to mirror all the geometry and curves and solid then go through each operation and fix the broken stuff and make sure it's working properly. Not much fun on complex multi-axis parts with many setups but that's why you earn the big bucks, right?

A warning that when you mirror curves the direction is also reversed so many times the side of the curve that is being cut needs to be changed. If making pockets or bosses that doesn't make a problem, but side features are more painful.

And if you use arc or line geometry, it becomes dis-connected with the feature and requires either re-selecting or re-creating the arc or line. Sometimes it's better to use curves for making features than geometry.
